On average, the temperatures are:
Sea temperatures: 20℃-24℃ from January to May, and 15℃-20℃ outside.
Sea temperatures: 25℃-30℃ from June to December, and 25℃-30℃ outside.
This makes marine activities in Okinawa possible all year round.
In Okinawa, you can swim from April to October although the water temperature before June is quite low.
But with a wetsuit you can enjoy diving and snorkeling all year round!
Yes, there is no problem with swimming or going underwater during menstruations as long as you feel comfortable with it.
For safety reasons, we are not allowed to provide or sell medications. We leave it up to each guest’s discretion to prepare what they need to prevent motion sickness.
There is a high probability of encountering sea turtles in the Kerama islands, but it is rare in the northern part of the main island.
We recommend you to join a full day tour with our NAHA branch if you want to see them.
You can sometimes find white tip sharks in the Kerama islands.
But the sharks encountered in Okinawa are a very calm species that do not attack people.
Each branch has staff who can speak English, Chinese and/or Korean.
Depending on your chosen dates and activities, it may not be possible to assign you a multilingual staff, so please check with us in advance when you book.
Valuables will be kept at the reception at BERRY NAHA.
The BERRY KISE and BERRY KANUCHA also keep your valuables during a tour or activity. Customers who only use the Aqua Park can use a coin locker.
In all branches, there are limited space to store luggage so please be sure to ask us in advance if we have the space to keep your belongings.
We have a liability insurance and an accident insurance. In the unlikely event that an accident occurs during a tour, our insurance will cover the damage on the participant side.
BERRY NAHA: all our boats except for the parasailing boat are equipped with shower rooms, lavatories and changing rooms.
BERRY KISE & KANUCHA: shower rooms, lavatories and changing rooms can be found in our facilities and they are free of charge for customers of Marine Club BERRY.
About our Activities
You are required to bring (or wear) swimwear for all marine activities except for parasailing tours.
Depending on the activity you choose, it may be useful to bring motion sickness pills and flipflops.

Yes, you can snorkel or dive even if you cannot swim. Rest assured that we have professional instructors to take care of you, and life jackets will be used.
You can wear contact lenses under your mask if they are the soft type. Hard lenses are not fit for marine activities. Note that we rent prescription dive masks.
The age restriction depends on the activity you choose.

Introductory diving tours are for non-certified divers, while people with a license can participate in Leisure Diving tours.
Count approximately 30 minutes between onboard breathing practice to the time of return to the surface. You may stay underwater for a maximum of 20 mins and go as deep as 6 meters.
Whale watching is the main highlight of the winter season in Okinawa.
Of course, we also provide snorkeling, introductory diving, jet activities and parasailing all year round.
Other activities may not be held depending on the season.

Unfortunately this will not be possible. By definition, a tour starts at a specific point and finishes when we come back to that same point. We are not allowed to end the tour by leaving you at a different place.
Cancellations may occur if the weather or sea conditions are deemed unfavorable or dangerous by our captains. However, tours usually aren’t cancelled in case of light rain.
Depending on the activity you want to join, you may not be allowed to participate if you suffer from some specific health conditions such as diseases related to the heart, lungs and blood pressure.
Alternatively, you may be allowed to participate if you bring a doctor’s written permission.

Solo participants are also welcome!
There is no minimum number of people to book per se. On the other hand, please note that we may have a minimum number of participants per activity set for the tour to be held.
Introductory diving and snorkeling at BERRY NAHA can be done from the same boat. Note that we cannot combine a full-day tour with a parasailing option or jet activities.
BERRY NAHA: staff always carry cameras with them. As long as we can ensure your safety, we will take as many photos of you during the tour.
BERRY KISE: we are afraid we do not provide a photography service. However you can ask us to take pictures of you with your own camera.
We do offer cameras for rent. However, the number of cameras is limited, so please request one in advanced or upon booking.

Reservations & Policies
Once your booking is processed we will send you an invoice. You can pay online by credit card at that time.

We accept payments by cash, Visa, MasterCard, JCB, American Express, UnionPay, Alipay and Apple pay.
You will be able to book as early as 6 months before your desired activity date.
For further information, the high season runs from July to October. Please make sure to book early enough to save your spot!

We will refund you if we cancel any tour or activity due to adverse weather or sea conditions.
We refund customers within 24 hours after a cancellation is processed. However, it might take longer for you to receive the money in your account. Please contact your credit card company if you wish to know how long it takes them to process refunds.
You can book multiple activities if they are held at different times. Please contact us for special deal combination plans.

Only BERRY NAHA provides free transfer services.
Transfers are provided to and from a list of fixed points located within Naha city. These are usually hotels. We can tell you which pick-up point is nearest to your lodging if you provide us with its name and address.
For BERRY KISE and BERRY KANUCHA, we are afraid that we do not provide hotel transfers.

You can park your car for free near our shop. Note that usage of the parking lot is solely for guests participating on a tour or activity on that same day.

BERRY NAHA: Transfers and their schedules will be sent to our customers by email, or at your hotel by fax a day before the tour at around 18:00. For indication, pick-ups are usually around 07:30–08:00 if you go on a full-day or a morning tour, and around 12:30–13:00 in the case of an afternoon tour. This may vary according to traffic.
BERRY KISE & KANUCHA: Please come to the meeting point 15 mins before the activity time.
Unfortunately we do not provide transfers outside of the city. If you are staying outside of Naha, please make plans accordingly.
Usually traffic is to be expected on weekdays between 07:00 and 08:30 AM. You can add an extra 40 to 60 minutes to your journey to reach your destination.
